Swinney Homestead Area (Kassandra and Amara)

We learned from the Allen Co Historical Society that this log cabin was built in 1849 in Huntington Co and moved to its current site (off W Jefferson) in the 20th century.
Haven't found the date, yet, but did learn the red brick Swinney house (namesake of Swinney Park) was built in layers. It's a museum and corporate office of the historical society. Not sure when it was original built or when it became a museum. Will be interesting to research.
